Darla Myers was born and raised in Roseburg, Oregon. Myers paints predominately in encaustic and oil. She is self taught, and has been painting and participating in furthering her art education since 1998. She has studied with contemporary artists Stephen Quiller, Rebecca Crowell and Lisa Pressman among others. She has exhibited in solo shows at The Fireweed Gallery, Homer, AK, Snow City Cafe, Anchorage, AK and The Freeman Gallery, Livingston, MT. She was a founding partner of the Artist Studio Co-op & Gallery-Upstairs Studio in Anchorage, AK. Myers has lived worked and painted in the Colorado Rockies, Anchorage, AK and now Bozeman, MT. Current art representation is Tripp Studios, Bozeman, B. Hive Gallery, and Cactus Blossom Collective in Livingston, MT. She was a 2015 participant in the Montana Artrepreneur Program (MAP), Three Forks Cohort. She paints and teaches encaustic painting in her Bozeman Studio.
