After several false starts and the frustrations of not having the required facilities or environment to create sculptural ceramics I eagerly responded to an email from Jeremy Hatch inquiring on interest in establishing a shared ceramic studio. After a six month search we were able to purchase a building in Bozeman which with considerable renovation could be close to perfect for our needs and budget, and hence Beall Street Studios was established. The building is just under 3000 square feet and features a kiln room with 4 electric kilns, a glazing area with spray booth and large utility sink, a shared studio area with rental space for up to four artists and private studio rental, ADA bathroom and accessibility, and potential gallery space. Now four years after graduating from MSU (and sending my third child off to college) I am finally able to start my journey as a studio artist.
